Excitement
filled the air again as the Flying Star Rodeo returned to
Sanilac County on Friday August 15, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. during the 2009 Sanilac County
4-H Fair! This was a nationally sanctioned rodeo and
had the full schedule of rodeo competitions. Flying Star Rodeo offered fast paced, high speed competition from cowgirls and cowboys. Events at the rodeo included bull riding, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, team roping, calf roping and barrel racing. Bareback riding, saddle bronc riding and bull riding were won by the contestant that rode their animal for a total of 8 seconds and also scored the highest number of points. The other events were timed. |
